The window grip consists of a hand grip (1), a baseplate (2), an operating roller (3), and a double closure lock (4) which in all closure positions automatically moves under the return force of a screw spring (5) into the arresting holes (6) of the baseplate, preventing undesirable turning of the grip. Unlocking for adjustment of a new position is only possible if pressure is applied to the grip to effect a pushing movement upwards, activating the operating roller (3) to effect a rotation through approximately 90 deg. against spring force. In this event, the driver bolt (7) of the lock bolt (4) slides into a reducing dia. recess (8) in the operating roller (3), causing the bolt (4) to be withdrawn from the holes (6).
