The connection block is used for a number of individual leads (1) for respective measuring electrodes attached to the body of the patient. The electrode leads (1) by respective overcurrent protection resistors contained within the connector socket (2) behind each socket contact (4). The opposite side of the connector socket (2) has a multi-pin lead connector socket (12), with the same number of contacts so the of contacts as the number of electrode leads.
