PURPOSE:To arrange a cooling air cleaner near an engine crank case side and shorten a cleaner hose by integrally molding a cleaner fitting seat with a rear fender covering a rear wheel from above, and fitting the cooling air cleaner to the cleaner fitting seat. CONSTITUTION:The rear wheel of a scooter type vehicle is covered by a rear fender 23 from above, and the rear fender 23 is fitted to the bottom wall section of an article storage box at the front end section. A fitting seat 68 is recessed on the side of the center section of the rear fender 23, a cleaner fitting plate 69 is provided on the fitting seat 68 and reinforced, then the cleaner body 71 of an air cleaner 70 is fitted to the cleaner fitting plate 69 from below. The cleaner body 71 has an inflow port 72 and an outflow port 73, an air filter 75 is provided on the inflow port 72 side, and the outflow port 73 is connected to the transmission case of an engine via a flexible cleaner hose 77. |
