PURPOSE:To obtain a video signal with excellent picture quality without causing grating like distortion at a border of blocks by selecting a video signal of a best field from each area having almost the same shift quantity among video signals, transmitting the selected video signal, correcting the shift quantity and demodulating the signal thereafter. CONSTITUTION:Video signals of each field inputted to a transmitter are divided into plural areas in which the shift quantity is almost the same. Then a field optimum for the transmission in each divided field of each area is selected and a data relating to a video signal of the sent field is added to the field and the result is sent. Moreover, a receiver receiving the transmission signal stores sequentially sent video signals of each field. After the shift quantity is corrected to the video signal of each field stored based on the shift quantity of each area to be sent simultaneously, the result is synthesized and the result is outputted as a demodulation signal. As a result, an excellent demodulation video signal without causing grating stripe is obtained without much increase in the transmission information quantity. |
