Mouldable water absorbent resin compound.

A mouldable water absorbent resin composition comprising thermoplastic or solvent soluble resin and water absorbent resin particles dispersed therein. Average particle size of the water absorbent resin particles is less than 1 mu m under dried state and the particles have water absorbency of from 10 to 1000g/g. The resin composition may be mouldable into any shape, its absorbable water content is equal to 10 to 80000 wt% based on it own weight. In the present invention, the particles have a good compatibility with mouldable resin. Therefore, the particles do not separate from the mouldable resin easily and are not lost and come off from the mouldable resin.
