Herbicidal agents contain as antagonistic compound at least one substituted 2-aminothiophene having formula (I), in which R<1>, R<2> stand for H, CN, alkyl, halogen alkyl, if necessary substituted phenyl, CO-R<6> or R<1> + R<2> stand for a C3-C6 alkylene chain, upon which a benzene ring, if necessary substituted, may be annulated, a C2-C3 alkylene chain broken by -O- or -N(R<7>)-, which may also carry 1-4 alkenyl residues or a group CO-N(R<7>)-CO; R<3> stands for CN, if necessary substituted -C(NH2)=N-C6H5, -C(NH3<+>Hal<->)=N-C6H5, CX-R<6>; Hal stands for halogen; R<4> stands for H, alkyl, alkenyl, if necessary substituted phenyl, if necessary substituted triazin, -PX(OR<8>)2, -CX-R<9>, -SO2R<10>, -SO2-NHR<10>, -CX-N(R<7>)-CY-R<8>, -CX-N(R<7>)-SO2-R<11> or R<3>=R<4> stand for CO-O-CO; R<5> stands for H, alkyl, -CX-R<9>, -SO2-R<10>; X, Y stand for O, S; R<7> stands for H, phenyl, alkyl; R<8> stands for H, alkyl, if necessary substituted phenyl; R<9> stands for alkyl, halogen alkyl, alkenyl, halogen alkenyl, if necessary substituted cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, NH2, alkylamino, dialkylamino, cycloalkylamino, if necessary substituted phenyl or phenylamino; R<10> stands for alkyl, if necessary substituted phenyl; R<11> stands for NH2, alkylamino, dialkylamino, if necessary substituted pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, morpholinyl, piperazinyl; R<4> + R<5> stand for =CR<12>R<13> or -CO-W-CO-; R<12> stands for H, NH2, alkylamino, cycloalkylamino; R<13> stands for NH2, alkylamino, dialkylamino, cycloalkylamino, if necessary substituted thienylamino, pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, morpholinyl, if necessary substituted phenyl or pyridyl; W stands for an ethylene or ethenylene bridge, if necessary substituted, or for an aromatic or heteroaromatic 5/6 membered cycloalkylene or cycloalkenylene bridge, if necessary substituted. Also disclosed are a basic salt of compound (I), in which R<3> stands for hydroxycarbonyl, hydroxythiocarbonyl, or an acid salt of compound (I) which contains a basic hydrogen atom, and at least one herbicidal active substance from (A) the group of 4-aryloxy- and 4-heteroaryloxy-phenoxyacetic acid derivates or from (B) the group of cyclohexan-1,3-dione derivates.
