Horizontal slots (2) at different levels in the quadrants of a vertical tube (1) are separated at each level by bars (3). A concentric inner tube (4) with corresponding slots (5) and bars (6) is held upright by a cruciform array of hollow distance pieces (7) open at their sides. Sleeves (9) for locking rods are provided in the foam packing (8) which fills the space between the tubes (1,4). A cable duct (11) serves for lighting of shelves (10) cantilevered into it via the quadrant slots (2,5). ADVANTAGE - Individual display shelf arrangements can be assembled and altered easily and without recourse to tools.
