<p>PURPOSE:To inform the following vehicle of deceleration further precisely to contribute to promotion of traffic safety by providing common stop lamps respectively lighted by the operation of a normal brake device and an exhaust brake device. CONSTITUTION:When a brake valve 12 is operated during normal running, the compressed air in an air tank 14 is supplied to a pneumatic boost device 10 to operate a wheel brake. At the same time, a stop lamp switch 16 is closed, and a normal open contact point 26 of a relay device 22 is closed to light up a stop lamp 28. On the other hand, when a vehicle enters the engine brake running state, an accelerator switch 48 and a clutch switch 50 are closed, so that when a manual operated switch 52 is closed to apply an exhaust brake device 34, a solenoid three-way valve 44 is opened to supply the compressed air in the air tank 14 to a pressure chamber of an air cylinder 42, whereby an exhaust brake valve 38 is partially blocked up through an operating lever 40. At the same time, the normal open contact point 26 is also closed to light up a stop lamp 28.</p> |
