PURPOSE:To attain after-recording of an audio signal with simple constitution by providing a MUSE signal recording means, an audio signal processing means, an analog audio signal selection means and an audio signal recording means to the recorder. CONSTITUTION:A MUSE signal with video and audio signals is given to a MUSE signal recording means 1, in which a video signal and an audio signal are subjected to recording processing simultaneously and the result is fed to a rotary head 6 via a recording signal changeover device 5 and recorded on a magnetic tape. On the other hand, the MUSE signal with video and audio signals is fed also to an audio processing means 2 simultaneously, in which processing such as decoding, error compensation/correction and time axis expansion is implemented and the result is D/A-converted to be an analog audio signal, which is fed to an audio selection means 3. Moreover, an analog audio signal from an external audio signal source 15 is fed similarly to the audio selection means 3, and either of the two analog signals is selected and fed to the audio signal recording means 4 in which only the audio signal is recorded and fed to the rotary head 6 via a recording signal changeover device 5 and recorded on the magnetic tape. Thus, after-recording is implemented with simple constitution. |
