In a machine for stuffing olives automatically with meat paste, the olives (7) are transferred from a serial infeed station (1) to a runout station (10), at which the stuffed end product (7a) emerges, by way of a transfer station (20) that comprises an indexing conveyor (5) with peripheral pockets (6) interconnected by a profiled channel (8); the channel freely accommodates a fixed knife (11) by which the top part of each olive (7) is cut at a station (9) between the serial infeed and runout stations (1, 10), and a divaricator (12) serving to spread the sides of the cut olive and thus create an opening (7b) into which the meat paste is forced by an injector (14) supplied from a relative feeder station (19). Advantageously, the infeed and runout stations (1, 10), the conveyor (5) and the feeder station (19) are mechanically interconnected and driven synchronously by a single power transmission system (30, 31). <IMAGE> |
