PURPOSE:To correspond to the fluctuation of resistance of a transferring member to be caused by the environment to always output the excellent image stably by detecting resistance of a transferring member when the paper is not fed, and controlling the voltage to be applied when the paper is fed with a voltage adding method or a coefficient method. CONSTITUTION:When the paper is not fed, the constant current is flowed to a transferring roller 4 by a power source circuit 5, and a voltage value VH thereof is detected, and a roller resistance value is judged by a control circuit 6, and in the case that this value is within an appropriate range, the voltage adding method control for adding a divided voltage value, for flowing the appropriate current lower limit value to the high resistant paper, to the described voltage value VH to supply as the applied voltage to the transferring roller 4 during the paper feeding, is performed, and in the case that the voltage value VH is less than the appropriate range, the coefficient method control for applying the voltage, which is obtained by multiplying the described voltage VH by a coefficient K, is performed. Even if a resistance value of the transferring roller 4 is oscillated by the fluctuation caused by the environment condition and long term use or the like, proper applied voltage hardly bad is thereby supplied to obtain an excellent image. |
