<p>The image is transferred to the offset cylinder (1) from plate carrying cylinders (2) equipped with an inking mechanism (3). The image is then transferred to the cylindrical target object (4). The object is illuminated by a strobocscope (5) under the control of a synchronisation pulse generator (7), and the illuminated image is detected by a video camera (9). The image data are fed via a 'frame grabber' (11) to a monitor (14). A personal computer (17) controls the synchronisation generator (7) and frame grabber (11) and also feeds control information to a text monitor (19).</p> |
