<p>PURPOSE:To avoid bleeding in printing by performing selectively a heating operation of a heating element in a period before an input of a 2nd latch signal and a printing operation in a period before and after the input of the 2nd latch signal based on a state of a printing data of a line before 1 line to be printed. CONSTITUTION:When a printing is not performed at present, if a data is a logic '0' and a printing data before 1 line is either a logic '1' or logic '0', both of data T11 and T12 corresponding to periods T3 and T4 will be the logic '0' and output signals DO3 and DO4 can be obtained without a heating operation. On the other hand, when the present printing data is the logic '1' and the printing data before 1 line is '0', a heating element 24 is heated in the operation period T3-IT4 by an output signal DO2. Also, if the printing data before 1 line is '1', it becomes the logic '1' in the operation period T3, and becomes the logic '0' in the operation period T4 so that an output signal DO1 can be obtained and the heating operation is performed only in the operation period T3 smaller than the operation T3+T4. Thus, bleeding in printing due to heat accumulation can be prevented.</p> |
