The invention relates to a device for detonation spraying of a desintegrated, e.g. pulverous material towards the surface of an object. This device includes an acceleration tube with a mouth end and a detonation chamber arranged at a distance from the mouth end, and a supply device for supplying the material to the acceleration tube and/or the detonation chamber. A gas distribution device (14) is arranged, by means of which oxygen, combustion gas, and a protective gas are led to the detonation chamber (6), and which comprises gas inlet ports (16-20) for said gases. Furthermore there is an ignition device in the detonation chamber for igniting a mixture of combustion gas and oxygen therein so as to generate a detonation for propulsion of the material in the acceleration tube. The gas distribution device comprises, in a valve housing (32), a valve bore (36) with side inlets (38, 40, 42) and side outlets (44, 46, 48) arranged in the sides thereof. In the valve bore a valve piston (50) having through channels (52, 54, 56) opening in the side thereof, is movable. First connection channels (58, 60, 62) are arranged between the gas inlet ports (16, 18, 20) and the side inlets (38, 40, 42) of the valve bore, and second connection channels between the side outlets (44, 46, 48) of the valve bore and chamber inlets of the detonation chamber, the through channels (52, 54, 56) of the valve piston (50) being arranged so that in a certain position of the valve piston, at least one side inlet (38; 40) is connected to a side outlet (44; 46) through such a channel (52; 54), and in a second position of the valve piston at least an other side inlet (42) is connected to another side outlet (48) through another such channel (56). |
