PURPOSE:To supplement paper money while the automatic transaction machine is put in customer service by providing an independent conveyance unit which can count and determine paper money as an auxiliary safe. CONSTITUTION:The automatic transaction machine is equipped with the auxiliary safe 65 where supplementary paper money P to be supplemented to a safe and the reception and discharge of paper money P are processed in parallel, conveying means R16 and R18 which convey the supplementary paper money sent out of the auxiliary safe 45 and return it to the auxiliary safe 65, and an inspection means 6 which is provided on the return conveyance path of the supplementary paper money and inspects and counts the supplementary paper money previously. Consequently, while money paying/receiving service is carried on, the paper money can be counted and determined in parallel to normal money paying/receiving service and the operation efficiency and customer service are improved. |
