The extractor-fan, especially for kitchens, has a tubular air-duct (3) on the input end of which is an air-inlet housing. A radial ventilator (5-8) sucks up the air axially and blows it out radially and is positioned at the output end of the air duct (3). The radial ventilator has a wheel (5) whose suction duct (8) has the same cross-section as the air-duct (3). The radial ventilator is enclosed by an air-guide (12) forming an air outlet (21) with shield (13,14). ADVANTAGE - The domestic extractor-fan is more efficient by being a radial fan sucking in air axially and blowing it out radially.
