Building block of brick, for joining to other building blocks to form a wall, with protruding edges on one side and corresponding recesses on the opposite side. The block is designed with holes 111, 113, 114, 115 running straight through the block at right angles to the two said sides. One of the holes 111 has a considerably greater diameter than the other holes 113, 114, 115 and is at least partly covered by a thin reflecting layer 119. The method for producing the building block is such that, before the block is baked, a member is inserted into one of the holes 40 for coating parts of the inner surface of the hole with a reflecting layer 411. <IMAGE> |
