<p>PURPOSE:To enable the erasing operation simultaneously with detection of CUE signal by reproducing the CUE signal, during erasure of the CUE signal, using an erase head at the time of recording and by simultaneously executing the erasing operation with an ordinary recording head. CONSTITUTION:Usually, the CUE track is reproduced during the erasing operation using the CUE head 1 in the supply (S) side to be used (not used at the time of playback) as the erasing head during the recording operation, in order to decide whether the reproduced signal is the CUE signal or not between the CUE head 1 in the S side and the CUE head 2 in the takeup (T) side. When the reproduced signal is detected as the CUE signal, the erasing operation of the CUE track is carried out using the CUE head 2 in the T side which is usually used as the recording and playback head. Thereby, playback/detection and erasing of the CUE signal can be realized almost simultaneously.</p> |
