摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of each device and simplify controlling method and heighten reliability by controlling the temperature of a reformer using combustion air. CONSTITUTION:In a reformer temperature controller 12, a functional machine 31 finds a desired value SV2 in response to the output of the reaction pipe temperature meter 6 of a reformer 1 and a subtractor 32 finds a temperature difference between the desired value SV2 and a measured value and a computing element 33 finds an amount of air by which the difference is zero. In an air amount controller 13, a subtractor 42 finds the minium necessary amount of air from cell current as well as the flow of raw fuel and a functional machine 41 finds the rate SV4 of the excess of air and the computing element 42 obtains a desired value of the amount of air for combustion. An adder 43 adds the desired value to a desired value of the amount of air required for controlling the temperature of the reformer and a computing element 44 finds the difference between a value obtained by this addition and a measured value of air flow and a computing element 45 finds a signal by which the difference is zero and an air flow valve 3 is controlled so that the reformer 1 is at set temperature.
