PURPOSE:To prevent paper jam in discharging paper by judging which is selected, hand feed or automatic feed, and changing a discharge passage if the hand feed is selected. CONSTITUTION:Change between hand feed and automatic feed is made and a discharge passage for paper is changed to a face-up discharge passage or a face-down discharge passage by a discharge changing means M1. Which is selected, hand feed or automatic feed is judged by a feed judging means M2, and if that the hand feed is selected is judged the discharge changing means M1 is driven and controlled by a change controlling means M3 to change the discharge passage for paper. It is thus possible to prevent paper jam even if special paper such as envelop, cardboard, etc. is fed by hand. |
