PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body high in sensitivity to the light in the wavelength region ranging from the visible light to all the wavelength regions emitted by the semiconductor laser devices and resistant to deterioration at the time of repeated uses by forming a photosensitive layer containing specified zinc-phthalocyanine dispersed into a binder comprising an aminotriazine resin. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material to be used is prepared by forming into a thin film the mixture of the binder comprising at least the aminotriazine resin, and the zinc-phthalocyanine prepared by substituting 2 fluorine atoms and 2 aromatic compounds each having a mercapto group at each benzene ring of the phthalocyanine skeleton, represented by formula I in which R is -S-Z and Z is phenyl or naphthyl, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be high in sensitivity in the wavelength region covering from the visible light region to the regions of the beams emitted by the semiconductor laser devices and freed of deterioration at the time of repeated uses. |
