PURPOSE:To offer a device which permits a player to change duration data regarding desired event data while automatically playing it by writing timing change data in a storage means if the data is generated, and also providing a control means which controls playing according to timing data changed. CONSTITUTION:Automatic playing data in which the timing at which desired rhythmic sounds are emitted is shifted according to automatic playing data stored in a RAM 4 is edited. A moving clock function is provided. When the mode is set to this function, a wheel 5 is controlled and then the timing at which an anticipated rhythmic sound is emitted just after the control of the wheel 5 is advanced or retarded in accordance with the distance by which the wheel 5 is rotated; i.e. a player recognizes a rhythmic sound R0 emitted before a rhythmic sound R3 and then rotates the wheel 5 in its normal direction before an anticipated time at which the rhythmic sound R3 is emitted. As a result, duration data regarding emission of the rhythmic sound R3 is changed according to the distance by which the wheel 5 is rotated and the rhythmic sound R3 is emitted at timing indicated by e.g. a sign R5. To advance the timing, the wheel 5 is rotated in its reverse direction. As a result, the rhythmic sound R3 is emitted at timing indicated by e.g. a sign R2 according to the distance by which the wheel 5 is rotated. |
