PURPOSE:To recover automatically the target value when a setting device of a single series has a fault by adding a medium value selecting circuit and a signal following means to a multiplexed process controller. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd medium value selecting circuit 5 feeds target values S1(A), S1(B) and S1(C) and selects the medium value of these target values. The output of the circuit 5 is used as an external input. At the same time, an operation switching circuit 6 is used as a signal following means. The circuit 6 delivers a following command S6 to give a following action to a setting device 2 so that the target value S1, i.e., the output of the device 2 s coincident with the external input. While the selection is also performed between an increment command S4 and a decrement command S5. In such a constitution, the target value can be automatically recovered when a fault is recovered for a setting device of a single series. |
