The invention relates to a device on which it is possible to position a tray and to place and operate a screen for passing sand through very easily and without effort. It consists of two sides (1) having a rounded end and a straight end, which are joined by crosspieces. In the horizontal position the tray is placed on the crosspieces (2) which are inclined in order to be able to hold the tray in position. In the vertical position, with the support (1) placed on the rounded ends, the screen rests on the crosspieces (3) and is blocked by the abutments (4). The tilting of the assembly effects the screening of the sand. The device is intended in particular for masonry work. <IMAGE>
