A tape closure system exhibiting high shear and high nonshocky peel to an Low Adhesion Backsize coated substrate is disclosed. The adhesive used on the fastening tape used in the closure system comprises a high diblock ( >/= 25 percent) styrene-isoprene-styrene elastomer component with a composite midblock glass transition temperature of 244 to 264 Kelvin with 30 to 60 percent elastomer.
