PURPOSE:To easily and quickly obtain a desired KANJI (Chinese character) notation by converting plural reading character-strings related to one inputted KANJI notation to KANJIs, respectively and outputting a common conversion result as a conversion candidate. CONSTITUTION:An input/output part 10 is constituted of an input part constituted of a keyboard and a mouse, and a display part of a display, etc., and the input part inputs various instructions, and plural reading related to a desired KANJI notation. On the other hand, the display part displays a result of processing from a document processing part 20, and a result of conversion by a single KANJI converting system and other converting system, for instance, a continued sentence clause converting system. In such a state, plural reading character-strings related to one KANJI notation which is inputted are converted to KANJIs, respectively, and from in each conversion result, a common conversion result is outputted as a conversion candidate. In such a way, the number of conversion candidates becomes smaller than the case when one reading character-string is inputted, and a desired KANJI notation can be obtained quickly. |
