The coupling for axially-staggered shafts has one driven (22) and one drive (10) half with an intermediate piece, (28) in the form of a ring with four outward-protruding arms at angles of 90 deg. between them. The intermediate piece (28) is connected by a first pair of centrally symmetrical links (30, 32) to the drive coupling-half (10) and by a second pair (34, 36) to the driven coupling-half (22). The links of the two pairs are linked to two pairs of diametrically opposite arms. The coupling intermediate piece is in at least four parts none of which is joined simultaneously to the drive or drives coupling half. USE/ADVANTAGE - The coupling is easily dismantled, and the compensating movement of the intermediate piece in relation to the axial displacement is reduced.
