PURPOSE:To make document preparing efficient by providing an input position judging means and automatically moving a cursor to the best place in a document at the time of carriage-return operation. CONSTITUTION:When a control part 3 recognizes that a character string inputted from a character input part 12 is an index number or index, the input position judging means 203 judges and calculates a position where a next document is to be inputted from the position where the index number is inputted. Further, the cursor is shifted in position so as to change the input position according to the input position. Consequently, when the document which uses the index number and index is created, the cursor need not be moved frequently and the document can easily be prepared. |
