PURPOSE:To arbitrarily change a pseudo stereo effect according to a music source or the taste of a user by using a variable capacity diode as the capacity for setting the phase variable amount of a phase-shifting circuit, and arbitrarily varying the phase variable amount. CONSTITUTION:The phase variable amount psi0 of a phase variable indirect sound signal psi(h-1) being a standard pseudo stereo characteristic is preliminarily set. Next, an impressed voltage VO by which the capacity value CO of a variable capacity diode 85 which can be turned into the phase variable amount psi0 can be obtained, is searched. Then, a numerical value NO by which the output voltage of a D-A converter 86 can be turned into the VO, is set at an RAM 88. A microcomputer 87 is operated for a program setting with this numerical value NO as a standard value. At the time of enlarging further the wide sense of a stereo, the command of increasing the phase variable amount psiis transmitted from a remote control 9 to the microcomputer 87. The microcomputer 87 decreases the numerical value of the data held in the RAM 88 from the standard value NO to an NL. |
