Text enlargement appts. for visually handicapped reader - has video camera on carriage and motor driven text holder and displays enlarged text on monitor

The appts. includes a video camera (2) with a makro lens for producing images on a monitor with a variable enlargement factor of up to 20 times. The camera is mounted on a carriage (1) which moves backwards or forwards along a line of text by means of an electromechanical drive (9). A second motor moves the piece of text to each new line. ADVANTAGE - May be set to reading speed of individual. Relieves tedium of using magnifying glass.
