Counter bearing - accommodates stop or safety components on door panel for which it has recesses, and has countersunk holes for fixture screws

The counter bearing is pref. made of drawn steel with a rectangular cross-section. In it are the recesses (2) for stop or safety devices on the door panel, and holes to take fixture screws (6) which run inclined to the two main axes of the bearing cross-section. The bearing is partic. suited for door panels which are securable by a multiple bolting arrangement, and extends over the full length of the door post or wall brickwork. Pref., it is fitted on parallel sides of the door post or brickwork. USE - To accommodate stop or safety devices for a door panel.
