The measurement channel of a radiometric measurement appts. has a radiator and detector mounted via a yoke on a frame and beween two conveyor belts. The stopping arrangement is mounted on the lower yoke part (5) between the radiator (6) and yoke mounting (18). The stop (12) is pivotably mounted on a stop lever (14) and has an actuation lever with a mechanical stop (10, 11) beneath each conveyor belt before each end of the actuation lever's path of motion. The pivoting point (13) of the stop arrangement on the lower yoke part is so arranged that the centre of the stop and the radiometric arrangement's beam path lie on the same circular arc.
