PURPOSE:To obtain the power unit which is simple and has no heat loss by dividing an AC high-voltage current, generated at the secondary-side high-voltage winding of an AC high-voltage transformer, into a positive and a negative DC current by a diode and controlling one DC component. CONSTITUTION:The low-voltage side of the secondary-side high-voltage winding L2 of the AC high-voltage transformer T2 is connected to the anode of a high- voltage diode D2 and the cathode of a high-voltage diode D3. The cathode of the diode D2 is connected to the collector of a high-voltage transistor TR-3 and a DC detecting circuit B which detects the DC component of a load current is interposed and connected between the emitter of the transistor TR-3 and the ground. A voltage detected by a DC detecting circuit B is compared with a reference voltage which is applied to a terminal P2 by an error amplifier 5 and the base current of the transistor TR-3 is so controlled that the detection output of a DC detecting circuit B is made equal to the reference output connected to the terminal P2. Consequently, the simple device which has high efficiency and no heat loss and does not require complex circuit constitution unlike a DC-DC converter is obtained. |
