<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject agent efficiently adsorbing and removing ethyl ene, odorizing substances, etc., having excellent antibacterial, insecticidal and antifungal activities and useful for transporting, storing and preserving fresh materials. CONSTITUTION:A freshness-retaining and deodorizing agent contains as an active ingredient a condensed peracid obtained by reacting a metal element (e.g. titanium, tungsten, molybdenum vanadium, zirconium) and/or a compound thereof (e.g. vanadium titanate, tungsten trioxide, ammonium phosphomolybdenate, vanadium pentaoxide, zirconium nitrate) with hydroperoxide.</p> |
