The pipe clamp consists of two brackets (2, 3) both with one end possessing a bent strip (5) radially to the holder cross-section and with a hole (14) in for the head (4a) of a tightening screw (4). The first bracket (2) other end has a radial, bent, T-shaped first hinge-half (10) with an arm (10c) and lugs (10a, b). The second bracket (3) other end has a second radial, bent hinge-half (10). The first bracket (2) and tightening-screw (4) have interacting catches in the form of a collar facing the first bracket screw head. The collar has an extension resting against the screw (4) shaft (15). USE/ADVANTAGE - The pipe clamp is in two brackets which are staggered parallel in the strips lengthwise direction by half the dia. of the tightening screw head.
