Two parallel shafts (3,4) each have two rotary pistons (5,6,7,8) which rotate concentrically and synchronously in circular housings (10). The rotors on each shaft turn in opposite directions and each rotor has a claw-shaped cut-out (16) with an outward projecting tooth (11). The gap (12) between the teeth (11) and their flanks of the interacting rotors on the parallel shafts (3,4) increases and decreases during rotation. The intake and outlet ports (13,15) are then respectively positioned at the front of the housing. ADVANTAGE - Increased life of moving parts, reduced rotational resistance, no abrasion, hence elimination of related filters.
