PURPOSE:To facilitate the repetitive input of a symbol, etc., by storing the code of a character, inputted by specifying its code, and the code of a symbol, and extracting the codes of the character and symbol, which are specified by an operator with a cursor, from the storage and displaying them on a display device. CONSTITUTION:This processor is provided with a code storage device 5 stored with the codes of the character and symbol when the operator inputs them by specifying the codes, and the processor 2 reads the codes corresponding to the character and symbol, specified by the operator with the cursor, out of the code storage device 5 and displays them at specific positions on the display device 4. Consequently, the code of the character or symbol which is inputted with its code before is displayed on an editing screen, so the operator when inputting the character or symbol again can easily know the code and the operability of the processor is improved. |
