The guide-piece for pipes, esp. for the vertical, external connecting-pipes of a steam-generator (6) consists of the pipe (2) possessing several horizontal, evenly spaced-out spacer-pieces at the same height, one each guide-plane. The spacer-pieces slide into guides (7) connected to a support-frame (5) enclosing the pipe (2). The telescopic guide-piece (1) of circular cross-section is welded to the pipe (2), and consists of a pipe-sleeve (3) welded to the pipe (2), and a steel insertion-piece (4). The guide (7) consists of two rails (8) the space between which is 2 millimetres more than the dia. of the insertion-piece (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - The circular guide-pieces have small contact areas so that they do not jam in the guides and are easily assembled to an adjustable length, and easily transported.
