SUPERCONDUCTING MICROWAVE COMPONENT

PURPOSE:To display the characteristic of an oxide superconducting material effectively by bringing a surface circumferential ridge of a superconducting ground conductor mounted on a 2nd base in face contact with a step difference formed to an inner face of a package to accommodate the 2nd base. CONSTITUTION:After a 1st base 20 with a superconducting conductor line 10 made of a prescribed pattern of oxide superconducting thin film mounted thereon and a 2nd base 40 with a superconducting ground conductor 30 made of a prescribed pattern of oxide superconducting thin film mounted thereon are accommodated in a package 50a overlappingly and the package 50a is sealed by covers 50b, 50c. In this case, the 2nd base 40 is formed wider than the 1st base 20 and the surface circumferential ridge of the superconducting ground conductor 30 mounted on the 2nd base 20 is brought in face contact with a step difference formed in the inside of the package 50a to accommodate the 2nd base 40. Thus, the package 50a and the superconducting ground conductor 30 are surely connected and the effect of using the superconducting conductor as the conductor is effectively displayed.
