PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and inexpensive power conversion device by operating various kinds of conversion means which are connected to a common bus through a reactor which is used commonly with a filter reactor according to a common current command which is given to a current control system controlling AC output current and then maintaining current balance between conversion means properly. CONSTITUTION:An upper control circuit 6u outputs a reference current command iAu* to each inverter according to the number of operating inverters N. Subtractors 7au and 7bu subtract detection signal from this reference current command and current sensors 5au and 5bu and the error signal is supplied to current control circuits 8au and 8bu. Output of the current control circuits 8au and 8bu is supplied to the inverters 1au and 1bu and a specified voltage is generated, thus enabling output current of the inverters 1au and 1bu to be controlled. At this time, AC voltage difference between the inverters 1au and 1bu is absorbed, unbalance of output current is eliminated, and the utilization factor of the inverter is improved. |
