PURPOSE:To form a solid image even when a transfer material inferior to the permeability of a recording agent is used by providing a member susceptible to the diffusion and permeation of the recording agent between the bonded recording agent and the transfer material and transferring the bonded recording agent to the transfer material through said member. CONSTITUTION:When recording paper 61 is allowed to approach a recording material 7, a bonded recording agent 3b is transferred to a diffusible and permeable member 51 and diffused on the member 51 in the planar direction thereof and dots are mutually connected. Thereafter, the recording agent 3b penetrates into the recording paper 61 to be transferred to the recording paper 61. By this method, an image wherein dots are mutually connected is obtained on any recording paper. As the diffusible and permeable member 51, a lyophobic porous body, especially, a member wherein the porous interior thereof is lyophilic and the surface thereof is lyophobic is pref. As the material thereof, a porous body composed of polytetrafluoroethylene or polysiloxane or a stainless steel porous body is pref. The diffusible and permeable member is arranged between the recording paper 61 and the recording material 7 so as not to come into contact with both of them and moved in matching relation to the moving speed of the recording material 7 to be prevented from the generation of the friction with the recording paper 61 or the recording material 7. |
