PURPOSE:To improve the compatibility and adhesion between a gas barrier resin and another thermoplastic resin by blending an ethylene and unsatd. carboxylic anhydride copolymer resin with a specific resin mixture. CONSTITUTION:2-98wt.% ethylene copolymer resin comprising ethylene units, 0.01-20wt.% unsatd. carboxylic anhydride units, and up to 40wt.% other radical polymerizable monomer (e.g. vinyl acetate) units and having an MFR (190 deg.C, 2.16kg load) of 0.1-100g/10min is blended with 98-2wt.% resin mixture comprising 50-90wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin, 40-9.5wt.% ethylene and 3-12C alpha-olefin copolymer resin, and 10-0.5wt.% ethylene/propylene/non-conjugated diene terpolymer and having a toluene extraction residue of 10-60wt.% and an MFR of 0.1-100g/10min. |
