<p>PURPOSE:To lower snaking speed of a transfer belt and prevent deterioration of print quality by calculating the rectifying information of a snaking transfer belt by means of a signal obtained through detecting the position of the transfer belt at a specified period. CONSTITUTION:Initial values of A and B direction rectifying information are set in a belt rectifying information memory area of a combined memory 20 of a processer 17. A cam motor 15 is driven to the position indicated by an eccentric can stopping position information and stopped thereat while a transfer belt 5 is moved by means of a belt motor 12. Time is started to incorporate a signal from a belt position detecting means 16 every 10m/s, for example, to detect the existance of the belt 5 every 10m/s. When the belt 5 drops away or comes in again to the detecting means 16 in its midway, the initial value of the A direction rectifying information is stored in the A direction rectifying information area to calculate the average of the initial value of A and B direction rectifying information and the rectifying information value of A or B direction is corrected. The eccentric cam stopping position information is renewed, A and B direction rectifying information values come closer to each other and the snaking rectifying speed of the belt 5 slows down.</p> |
