PURPOSE:To obtain a polyoxymethylene film excellent in tear strength by using a polyoxymethylene copolymer having a main chain of a specified composition as the starting material of a film for inflation. CONSTITUTION:A polyoxymethylene film made from a linear, branched or crosslinked oxymethylene copolymer having a structure derived by introducing 1-20mol, per 100mol of oxymethylene units, of oxyalkylene units of the formula into a polymer comprising repeating units-(CH2O)-. In the formula, RO and RO' are each H, 1-8 C alkyl, phenyl or a bivalent group derived from such a group and bonded to different carbon atoms; and m is 2-6. This film can be desirably used for agricultural films, adhesive tapes, photographic films, films for magnetic recording tapes, electrical insulation films as well as for packaging. |
