PURPOSE:To increase the discharge capacity of a secondary battery with non- aqueous electrolyte by furnishing a negative electrode, in which Al-Bi alloy and Li or Li alloy are connected together electrically. CONSTITUTION:70wt.% LiCoO2, 20wt.% acetylene black, and 10wt.% polyetetrafluoroethylene are mixed together and enwrapped with a wire meshing of stainless steel so as to provide a pos. electrode plate pellet 1, and a metal Li plate is put in tight contact with an Al-Bi alloy plate to provide a negative electrode plate 2. A separator 3 is made from a fine porous film of polyethylene while another separator 4 made from unwoven cloth of polypropylene, followed by vacuum impregnation with 1.5M6 lithium fluorophosphate/ethylene carbonate plus acetonitrile electrolytic solution. The resultant is accommodated in a battery case consisting of an anti-corrosive pos. electrode can 5 and neg. electrode can 6 made of stainless steel and an insulative gasket 7 made of polypropylene, and a button type battery with organic electrolyte is achieved. |
