PURPOSE:To ease the degree of dimensional accuracy as well as to enable it to perform the promotion of high yielding mass production for a high- performance light switch by constituting a movable fiber and a stationary fiber with a GI type multimodal optical fiber of specified length, having a larger core diameter than that of the single mode optical fiber concerned. CONSTITUTION:Each of GI type multimodal optical fibers 32, 92a, 92b as each spot size expanded area is connected to each tip of a single mode optical fiber 31 of a movable fiber 30 and single model optical fibers 91a, 91b of stationary fibers 901, 90b, respectively. For this reason, the optical axial slippage dependency on a connection loss among these opposing fibers 30, 901, 90b can be eased. With this constitution, constituent members of a single mode optical fiber movable type light switch and dimensional accuracy at time of assembly operation are sharply eased, thus the promotion of highly yielding mass production for the high-performance light switch is made achievable. |
