PURPOSE:To improve the extent of reproducibility as well as to make the extent of up to a fine dot in an easy manner by containing at least one type of oxycarbolic acids of carbon-number 2-16 as much as more than 0.5 wt%. CONSTITUTION:At least one type of oxycarbolic acids of carbon-number 2-16 is contained in a developer for a waterless planographic printing plate making a silicone rubber layer an ink-repellent layer as much as more than 0.5 wt%. As for this oxycarbolic acid of carbon-number 2-16, it means monoxymonocarbolic acid, monoxydicarboxylic acid, etc., for example, those of glycolic acid, lactic acid, alpha-oxy-n-butyric acid or the like are enumerated. With this developer applied, fine dot reproducibility is so good in a short developing time and, what is more, such a printing plate that is less in scratches and deflects is securable. With this constitution, the reproducibility is sharply improved and simultaneously the extent of up to the fine dot is reproducible so easily. |
