<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for a solidly closed structure for obtaining stable frictional force, and for using an expensive material which is hard to be abrased by providing an elastic member by which a display panel is energized in the direction that the panel is opened, in the vicinity of the starting point of opening and the finishing point of the display panel. CONSTITUTION:When a display panel 1 is closed, the position of a spring 5 is at a point A of an intermediate gear 7. When the lock by which the display panel is closed is released, the projection by which one end of the spring 5 is fixed, of the intermediate toothed gear 7 is moved from the point A to a point B due to the tensile force of the spring 5. The display panel 1 is slightly lifted to a main body 4, and a gap large enough for a user to put his/her hand in, is formed thereby. As the display panel 1 is opened wider, the position of one end of the spring 5 is moved through points C and D, until it is rotated up to a point E under a condition that the display panel 1 completely opened, and the open state of the display panel 1 is kept by the tensile force of the spring 5 at the point E. A solidly open structure is not needed to be adopted, while the material of a gear commonly used will do, and the reliability of the device is improved and cost can be reduced.</p> |
