PURPOSE:To prevent slipping off of a clip terminal which is inserted to a base board and held from above and below, when the solder fusion temp. is applied thereto, by giving a cut at each edge while the central part is left, folding in the opposite directions to one another, and providing upper cut-arise pieces and lower cut-arise pieces. CONSTITUTION:A cut is given to each edge of a clip terminal 1 while the central part 5 is left, and folding is made to the opposite direction to one another to provide upper cut-arise pieces 3, 3' and lower cut-arise pieces 4, 4', and thus a neck (2, 2') is formed. The clip terminal 1 is inserted from below into a hole 12 in a base board 16 until three split cut-arise pieces 3 at both edges emerge over the base board 16, and this part is connected by soldering, and a tie bar of the terminal is cut off. Meantime the upper and lower cut-arise pieces hold the base board from above and below, so that the terminal is prevented from slipping off the base board. |
