<p>PURPOSE:To obtain recycled pulp with a high whiteness by disintegrating waste pressure-sensitive adhesive paper in an alkaline solution, treating the resultant suspension with a screen, carrying out stirring treatment, subsequently further treating the suspension with a screen and adding a surfactant thereto. CONSTITUTION:Waste pressure-sensitive adhesive paper is disintegrated in water and an alkaline solution and the resultant suspension is then treated with a screen having <=0.5mm width of openings in a slit plate. The prepared accepted pulp is then dehydrated and concentrated to carry out mechanical stirring treatment at 15-40wt.% solid concentration. The obtained pulp is further diluted and treated again with a screen having <=0.2mm width of openings in a slit plate. A surfactant is subsequently added to the resultant accepted pulp and stirring is performed while introducing air. Substances other than the pulp are then subjected to foam floating and separating treatment to carry out pulping of the above-mentioned waste paper.</p> |
